Board or Committee Member

NAMI Kansas’ Board of Directors are elected by NAMI Kansas Board members and the general membership to provide strategic guidance in the fulfillment of NAMI Kansas’ mission to improve the quality of all life for those affected by mental illness. Board members have a broad responsibility to govern the organization.  Together, and with input from all members, they determine NAMI Kansas’ official position on matters of public policy, set the budget, ensure that adequate funding is in place and develop strategic plans to guide organizational development.  There are also opportunities for non-Board members to serve on several Board Committees.
