Find Help, Find Hope!

Pop-Up Awareness & Advocacy Campaigns

After the difficult decision made by the NAMI Kansas Board of Directors to cancel our 2021 Annual Conference, we continue to focus our efforts on ensuring that people get help early and get the best care possible through our continued use of virtual tools for online meetings, classes, and groups for those who are living with mental illness and their families, friends, and allies.  From our endless endeavors to raise awareness and promote advocacy efforts, a new opportunity was presented, Pop-Up Raising Awareness and Advocacy Campaigns!

Each campaign is intentionally identified and aligned with state and/or national mental health awareness and advocacy events.  For 2021, we have scheduled three Pop-Up Awareness Campaigns:

  1. StigmaFree, scheduled for the Kansas’ Mental Health Advocacy Day on February 17, 2021
  2. Minority Mental Health Month, scheduled July 2021
  3. Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, scheduled September 2021

In partnership with Proforma IDology and Marketing Group, a Pop-Up Raising Awareness and Advocacy Store will offer made to order campaign merchandise for purchase and shipping.  We have designed campaign merchandise (hoodies and/or T-shirts) displaying the campaign logo, QR codes of NAMI websites, and logos of our sponsors supporting the campaign (see merchandise here:  Each campaign is scheduled to run for a limited time with delivery on or before the campaign launch:
